Madden 10 Patch 1 (one) details

When is patch one coming out?
It is up for approval from Microsoft and Sony and we are hopeful the patch will hit the week beginning September 14th but realistically it could be the a week or two later as well.

What is included?

  • Added Super Bowl and Playoff Field conditions for Online Franchise
  • Fixed False Start Grieving issues with Online games
  • Fixed video player issue where video would hang on latent connections
  • Improved uploaded highlight video quality
  • Switched ranked online games to 7 min quarters
  • Fixed random stability issue fixes
  • Added Broadcast View Camera

Madden 10 Patch 1 Gameplay specific fixes?

  • Tuned slider effectiveness (Run blocking and broken tackles esp.)
  • Changes run blocking slider to not effect special teams
  • Made fatigue effect ratings more
  • Fixed WR release to where receivers release to both sides
  • Fixed incorrect spotting on punts out of bounds
  • Reduced/removed holding on kicking plays
  • Improved toe drag catch logic
  • Improved pursuit angles for outside running plays
  • Fixed defenders in pursuit running away from O-Line
  • Better play recognition in man coverage
  • Fixed double pass online exploit

    Why is Madden 10 so slowwww. It’s like playing 10 yard fight all over again. Another thing, I use the Saints and their Offense is supposed to be the best in the NFL by far, yet it’s impossible to move the ball whether it’s passing or running.

    Running is sooo slow. Cutting is boring and slow as well. I mean if I want to cut then freaking cut. I also think Madden has somehow though that cutting is the same as changing directions, which it isn’t. See if I am running straight but I want turn a little bit left but still straight it doesn’t take anything to do so. Now if I want to make a big cut and stop and go then yes.

    Also, I hate how on D, my guy is always out of control. I mean you cannot ever get into position because when you are on D and you are trying to run and shadow the WR, your guy is always out of control.
